In this short letter, you're going to understand why our approach is different from
the many anti-bullying, safe school initiatives out there right now.
We know some of those people and they do an amazing job inspiring, motivating, and giving schools helpful tools to combat bullying. But we all know what happens within a month—often within a week—after their presentations: Things revert back to where they were. Or sometimes things get worse. It’s no secret that bullying and anti-social behaviour are on the rise in our schools. How do we reverse this trend?
Our approach:
We offer no solutions; we create a safe space and open up dialogue to let the real issues surface. We bring decades of experience to take schools through a proven transformational process that break down barriers of conflict. We engage student leaders to help us guide the whole school, or part thereof, through a transformational process where everybody has a voice. In short it is the students, teachers, and administrators that find solutions to their unique schools.
Transformative Results empowers all members of the school community to take an active role
in creating safe, healthy, and vibrant learning centres.
In grade 5 we introduce the concepts of leadership, teamwork, responsibility, compassion through a fast moving chapter book called The Eye of the Storm. As students grow through their education those foundational seeds take root, move through thoughts and feelings and surface into action. The results: Grades 7-12 students taking leadership roles to create and maintain healthy, vibrant learning communities.
Imagine coming to your school every day and feeling a sense of cooperation, optimism, and goodwill; a peaceful community of learning where it is "cool" to help and support others. When you think about students engaged in building healthy social environments you begin to feel the real power of Transformative Results.
Our programs provide students with opportunity to utilize their skills and talents, while engaging in community building and volunteerism.

Introducing The Eye of the Storm.
The Eye of the Storm is a chapter book to help children grasp difficult-to-understand concepts that underpin success as an adult: Self-Esteem, Confidence, Teamwork, Perseverance, Overcoming Fear... Using Algonquin Park as a backdrop The Eye of the Storm also presents a strong environmental message.
What parents and teachers are saying:
"I have heard reports of mass reading since they got a hold of their books ...Aidan who won't read ANYTHING unless forced to has read the first three chapters of his own volition. I wanted to thank you and Duncan again for coming out. It was amazing how you had all of them so enthralled for so long. :)"--Jim Millington, Cub Scout Leader
"Thank you again for an excellent presentation. Your enthusiasm was motivating (my colleagues and I were impressed with your ability to engage the students and promote confidence) and your message was a positive and valuable one. They especially enjoyed the drawing exercise led by Duncan. We wish you both much success in your future endeavours.Keep writing!" --Lisa Hand, Grade 5 Classroom Teacher, Dixie Public School
>What kids are saying:
"I like how you teach the reader by using a simple word. Such as perseverance and ask a question that makes people think of what they do to contribute to the world." –Cindy, Grade 5 Student
"Your book has made me realize how and when it’s the right time to take r esponsibility, not just apologizing but finishing homework chores and etc. Your book also gave me the strength to continue in my situation, to solve it until the end (never say "die")." – Sanjot, 11 years old.
